Our Commitment to Social Value
Making a Positive Difference: Our Commitment to Social Impact
We go beyond business. Our social value strategy is embedded in our DNA, driven by our values of trust, authenticity, and expertise. We actively support a broad spectrum of causes that matter to both our team and the communities we serve.
Focused Impact:
Aligned with government guidance, we champion four key areas:
Empowering Communities:
Tackling economic inequality and fostering equal opportunity.
Protecting Our Planet:
Leading the fight against climate change.
Building a Diverse Workforce:
Promoting inclusion and well-being for all.
Health and Wellbeing:
Creating a work environment where people can thrive
These all translate into real-world results:
We actively measure our impact, ensuring our efforts make a tangible difference
Our Social Value Principles
Tackling Economic Equality
We actively tackle economic inequality. Partnering with key organisations like Leeds Community Foundation, Fareshare Yorkshire, and being a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we combine strategic support, volunteer initiatives, and measurable actions to continuously improve our social contribution.
Fighting Climate Change
We're committed to a greener future. Our ISO 14001 certification and hybrid work model demonstrate our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint. We have clear internal targets and actively offset our carbon footprint through tree planting initiatives. Additionally, we support the fight against food waste by aiding surplus food redistribution.
Creating Equal Opportunity
We champion equal opportunity. Our DE&I strategy goes beyond words. We invest in training to equip employees to foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and belonging. We partner with organisations like WILD and BY Peers to champion minority group representation and back initiatives like the Tech Talent Charter and promote disability confidence.
Improving Health & Wellbeing
We're passionate about creating a healthy and supportive work environment. We offer 4 annual volunteer days to give back to the community. Vitality healthcare and benefits, flexible work arrangements, financial planning and much more. We measure what matters through regular surveys ensuring we continuously improve employee experience.
